About the project
city’super has been established in Hong Kong for more than 20 years. It is now one of the largest supermarkets in Hong Kong. The COVID-19 outbreak has exacerbated a surge in demand for consumer electronics delivery services, and we emphasized prioritizing user experience, so we updated the website design and created a new E-shop APP.
Before launching, we often conducted research sessions to understand what the city’super e-shop should offer. I also held Google Sprint style team sketching sessions. All these efforts helped shape the general direction of the product, brand and online experience.
Utilizing the city’super brand, known for quality products and great value, proved to be very useful when generating ideas.
Our app makes shopping with us easier and more convenient, whether you're at home, in a store or out and about.
We bring a new user experience for users on the app.
Using the app, you can easily book delivery or pickup slots, view existing orders, modify orders and search for products. Start a shop on our app and finish it on our website; online.citysuper.com.hk - and vice versa. Your cart content and account details will be synced automatically. You can scan your digital card on the app at checkout or use it for super e-gold.
Easily find the items you often buy online and in-store. Any previous purchases you've made online will automatically be added to your favorites, and any in-store purchases you've made with your super e-gold card will also be listed. To add more items to your favorites, just click the heart icon.
Quickly access the features you use the most (such as slot bookings, search, carts and offers) directly from your device's home screen - just press the app icon.
Add upcoming orders to your calendar
After checkout, simply add your delivery or pickup time frame to your phone's calendar so you will never forget when your next order is available.
