About the project

This project was designed to solve a common issue in our office — the difficulty of booking meeting rooms. With many rooms located across multiple floors, it was often hard for staff to know which ones were available, leading to last-minute confusion or double bookings.

To improve this, we developed a system that allows staff to reserve a room in two ways: through the internal app, or by scanning a QR code placed at the door of each meeting room. This way, staff who walk past an available room can instantly scan and book it on the spot, while others can plan ahead via the app.

I was responsible for designing the user experience and interface. I focused on keeping the flow simple and intuitive so that anyone could book a room in seconds, even when in a rush. The interface was also optimized for mobile, considering most bookings would happen on the go.

This system helped reduce booking conflicts and made the process much smoother for everyone in the company.
